Good morning y’all!! Currently on my new iPad mini and love it. Mornings are getting so tough… And my last mornings here in Davis are quickly approaching. Honestly I can’t wait to be out of school doing what I love, I guess the difficult part is finding a job that includes the things I love. Hmmm finding a job… Never would I have guessed that it would be this consuming. Consuming of time and myself, questioning everything if this is even the path God really intends. But I have to sit back and remember, whether I do this or that, in the end it Is God’s sovereignty being out into play.

It’s so hard to not get the support from friends in the smallest areas…and I define them each by that, but I shouldn’t. Everyone’s struggling In their own way! But thank you to all the people in support of me! Even to the petty things of just liking my posts on instagram LOL but i see it and it does mean a lot! Just cope with me for a few months of crazy blogging, esp. as i get to understand God’s heart for me rather than just the plans. Love y’all.

Crazy to say, but my last days here in Davis are drawing near. Ironically, what I currently regret the most is not adventuring through the endless doors of food kingdom… in Sacramento! After 3.5 straight years of complaining on the lack of variety, I’ve discovered my deep appreciation for Yelp and have used it wisely ever since …well about 2 months ago. You will be surprised by the interesting goto places Sacramento has to offer, trust Yelp—it has yet to fail me!

TAKO: For weeks i’ve been meaning to find the time to check out a well known mexican+korean fusion eatery in Sacramento. It was interesting to say the least: the korean spicy bulgogi, topped with a fresh slaw and matched with the flavorful corn tortilla. A messy dinner—with hands completely covered in red sauce, but definitely a one of a kind place to check out!

Hot Italian: During the first week of my internship ‘Hot Italian’ was the talk around me. Being a client of the company I intern at, I had to make a trip there myself. The interior is spacious + accompanied by massive tables in every shape- perfect for big parties. I’ll be honest, i’ve never been a huge fan of pizza. However, I confidently title this very modern italian place as my favorite pizza venue yet! (And their gelato…I mean come ON!—to die for.)

Blackbird Kitchen & Bar: I didn’t want anything too fancy for our ‘one year anniversary’ dinner, so we decided to Yelp up a hip and mouth waterin’ venue. I’ve seen the building of this place from afar, but never knew what to expect from the kitchen. With a solid seafood menu (& just missing the happy hour $1 oysters by 5 minutes..!!!) the raw scallops appetizer, the clam chowder (not pictured) and the muscles were all $$ but so finger-lickin’ good!

I am not too picky with food, so my opinions may seem overly positive. HAHA

As I was reading through my past one hundred and something blog posts, I recollected every random thought, from big revealing moments God’s made in my life to ongoing homesick posts since starting my life in Davis. I remember the moment I decided to begin a Tumblr blog; that one freshman day when I was venting to Grace Park about how I had too many thoughts to express for journaling —so she recommended me here! To be completely honest, Tumblr became to me what it is to most users: a place where I rarely blogged myself but rather came to for photos of inspirations, laughs and simply for avoiding my schoolwork.

5 journals deep & everything I’ve wrote on Tumblr since my first year in Davis is now private—I might as well keep it for myself to remember! But I wanted to start fresh going into the ‘world’ and blogging about what life is maybe outside of MSM ;o) or UC Davis, focusing more on my own daily thoughts, inspirations and events. So here goes nothing!
